Nebo Queens...
Fancy meeting you here! I'm thrilled to have another avenue to connect with all of you on a consistent basis. My desire is to offer support to you as a working mom, wife, and/or woman in all the areas you may need a little extra inspiration! At Nebo, family is a big deal and that's why we love that we can give you the opportunity to contribute financially and keep yours a priority!
For me, the meaning of family has recently become an even more powerful word in my life. Last year about this time, I was taking in the sight, sounds, and smells (sometimes better than others!) of a newborn baby girl. For you NEWBIES who haven't had the chance to meet her yet, I must say you are in for a treat! Addy Grace is above and beyond all I could have hoped and dreamed for a child. The love I have for her will never be articulated in words. I am so grateful! Grateful for a God who has blessed me with such a sweet little life. A wonderful (good looking) husband. A precious, healthy little girl. A supportive & loving family, a cozy little home, a car that runs, a job that fulfills me (and helps pay the bills), a church community that provides me opportunities to grow and serve, great girlfriends, PLENTY of clothes, and a sweet little dog Zoe (that pees on the floor all the time but I love her anyway!)
What are you grateful for today? Gratitude is one of the most beautiful qualities we wear as women. It takes the focus off our discontentment, our fears, and our frustrations and puts it on the things that matter most.
Today, I challenge you to write down (you can even do it leaving a comment here!) 5 things you are most grateful for TODAY. My bet is that if you are lagging a bit today- in your mood, your energy, or even your SALES... this quick little excercise can turn everything around for you!

I love the blog! I am a Newbie and cannot wait to meet you and your darling Addy Grace! I have heard so many wonderful things about your whole family! I feel blessed to be working for such a wonderful company that allows me to be home with my kids at the same time. Thanks for all you do to make our job more fun!
ReplyDeleteAshley! This is so great! I have had many, many times in my life when making a gratitude list completely turned things around for me. I don't know why I forget so easily what an effective tool this is. It has tremendous power...I firmly believe that the more grateful we are, the more we are given for which to be grateful. I am going to put up a visual reminder for myself. Thank you so much for bringing me a much-needed reminder and motivator! LOVE the look of the blog, too, and of course your sweet baby girl!

Hi Nebo Fairy! TODAY i am grateful for the best job I have ever had in my life! I have a wonderful creative son, 3 loving dogs and today I will be taking a walk in the beautiful sunshine~is that 5 things!!? :)
ReplyDeleteNEBO Fairy, what a wonderful job on the FAIRY DUST blog. I love it! On this dreary, rainy Louisiana day, I am grateful to be working from home. I am grateful for my friends and family - especially my husband and children. I am grateful for my home and the many special memories it holds. I am grateful for the ability and opportunity to be active and play tennis. And last, but certainly not least, on my list of 5 things for which I am grateful is salvation through Christ and His peace in all things. Looking forward to more FAIRY DUST.

ReplyDeleteI'm grateful April 18th is only 16 days away (the official deadline for Tax Season 2021) my hubby is an accountant, we can't wait to have him back :)
I'm grateful I have the opportunity to serve. As wives/mothers we serve everyday.........my home is my favorite place to serve but I have the opportunity to serve women in my church and I'm so very grateful for that. I pray today as I'm about to visit with someone in need that I can be an instrument in the Lord's hands.
last..........I'm so grateful for opportunity!! When opportunity is met with courage and determination there is so much that can be learned. 9 years ago an opportunity presented itself in my life and my Nebo journey began. a little courage and a whole LOT of determination brings me to this present day!!! I will always be GRATEFUL for that :):)
Today I am grateful for my kids trying new things, a welcome home kiss, springtime flowers, healthy foods and kids being on spring break!
